Raising a puppy can be rewarding and frustrating; we pet owners just believe that the rewards are better. Taking in anew companion might be tough. You need to raise him properly to avoid the usual frustrations like furniture nibbling, rudeness and disobedience. Experienced owners have been though all of these, but what about new owners?

To raise a well adjusted puppy remember some key factors:

Training by Word
Concentrate on communicating with simple, but essential keywords at first, with words like “No” and “Very Good” topping the list. Introducing it early on will open up easy training for other instruction later. Also take note to choose their names carefully so as to not rhyme or resemble your commands. You do not want to confuse your dog.

Diet
Take care to watch their diet. Numerous designer pet products are on the market but remember to consult your vet or other experienced pet owners on how to construct your precious puppy’s diet plan. Make sure their dietary needs are adequate for their age, breed, size and your living environment. Different dog breeds need different nutritional intakes. That is why it is important to seek advice from your local vet.

Exercise
Be sure to take the time and give your puppy a short walk or a nice run in the park. It doesn’t necessarily be heavy, but it must be regular. Get them out of their designer dog beds and play or walk with them. You will not have a problem convincing energetic and curious puppies.

Easy on the Treats
As new puppy parents, you must learn to go easy on the treats. Give rewards to feats that are truly deserved. This doesn’t mean you should forego giving snacks altogether. Snacks are part of the raising plan, and doling them out wisely makes a well-adjusted puppy.

Raising a good puppy early on will make them compatible and adjusted to designer dog products and designer dog accessories later. A good training is the key to a good behavior that the public will see.
